Horsepen and Christopher Bush

29th August 2013

Avril MacArthur:

Hello! Delighted to get your message! All I have is a 10 page copy from English Heritage of the sale particulars from 1952 when Christopher sold the property-wouldn't it be strange if it was your mother and grandfather who bought it then? This is very detailed and does have photographs but it would be good to have any you may have too. I also have a cousin's memories of staying there which are quite amusing.Kind regards, Avril

Kamala & Michael Williamson

29th August 2013

K Atkinson:

Hi I noticed the topic of this msg "Kamala & Michael Williamson" These are the people I am trying very hard to find! Kamala is my late step-father's half sister, he last saw her when she was a little girl, he always wanted to find her. Even though he has now passed away, i'd love to be able to do this for him.
Thanking you kindly,
Karyn

Horsepen and Christopher Bush

Shabs Kay:

Hi, I came across your message - my mother and grandfather used to live at Horsepen. I have quite a lot of old photos and if you are interested I can send them to you. I would think that my mum lived there around 1950's.

Good luck with your searching!

Shabs Kay

Family History

20th August 2013

John Tyhurst:

I wonder if anyone has any information however small it may be on the policemen of Beckley and the Four Oaks area. My G G Grandfather was the local bobby from 1891 to 1894 and I assume lived in the local police house. His name was WILLIAM WADDINGTON and he lived there with his wife MARY LOUISA and children. Perhaps there may also be school records for the children. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

John Reginald Tyhurst, Eastbourne
