History According to the 1841 census, an ancestor of mine may have been living there. The addres is recorded as Knelle, Great, Beckley in Sussex. The family name is Padgham. Can you cpnfirm that this was Great Knelle Manor? |

Hayes Cottage, Beckley I also am researching my family history and my great grandfather lived at Hayes Cottages Beckley in the mid 1800s. I visited the cottages yesterday and took photos. Is this the same place as you are looking for? Alan Almond |
